Claudia and Scott | Engagement Session in Bechtel Park, Waterloo

Claudia and Scott met at a house party several years ago. Scott’s good friend, Kris, hosted the party. Kris happened to be Claudia’s stepbrother whom she’s very close with. They both noticed that something about the two of them together clicked that night.  However, Scott was hesitant to ask her out.  I guess it’s because of that unwritten rule amongst men — never date your friend’s little sister. Scott did not want to hurt his friendship with Claudia’s stepbrother. But Claudia….he knew she was special. Smart, and gorgeous women with good sense of humour are not often found. So he took a risk. He asked her out. And as the saying goes, the rest was history.

For their engagement session, Claudia and Scott wanted to incorporate two things they love — tennis and the outdoors. First, we spent some time at Northfield Racquet Club in Waterloo to shoot their tennis match, then we drove to nearby Bechtel Park to capture photographs of them in the woods while everything was basked in golden light.

Here are a few images from their engagement session.
