Nithridge Estate Wedding | Abbey and Matt

“You name an attribute of a fabulous photographer and Lyn has it! From the first instant my husband and I met Lyn we loved her. Lyn has a bubbly personality that really sets you at ease when working with her (especially if you are camera shy like my husband). The attention to detail and creativity that she puts into every ounce of her work is evident in the final product. We love how the images tell a story when they are put together- our coffee table book is a story of our wedding day, it is a true work of art and will be cherished for years to come. We are proud to show everyone the images that Lyn created for us; and our family and friends rave about her work. We intend to use Lyn in the future to capture our most important lifetime events- let that be a testament to how much we enjoyed working with her. Do not hesitate to book Lyn to document your most cherished memories- you will NOT be disappointed!”

— Abbey Schlatman

The last week of June last year was probably one of the wettest  one that I remember after being a wedding photographer for so many years.  The few days before Abbey and Matt got married, it rained so much that the water level at the Nith River rose quite a bit as was seen from the ceremony area at Nithridge Estate. I think the wedding gods were in their favour though because their wedding day turned out to be wonderful indeed.

What I loved the most about Abbey and Matt’s wedding was how excited they were about getting married. I often saw Abbey’s Facebook status on my newsfeed and it was usually about how many days were left until their Nithridge Estate wedding. Which was really sweet and just shows how romantic at heart they are with each other. They’re not the only ones excited though. Their families had been waiting for this to happen as well. They have been together since high school and have been part of each other’s families  for that long so this wedding just made everything official.

Here are a few images from their wedding!
