St Jacobs Ontario Wedding | Lori and Tyler

You know what I love the most about being a wedding photographer? I get to work with happy people in one of the most eventful day of their lives. That certainly rang through for Lori and Tyler’s at the scenic Three Bridges Event Centre in St Jacobs, Ontario.

I got to photograph Tyler and his groomsmen dress themselves, heard them jokingly banter at each other as good friends usually do. I got to share Lori’s excitement as she put on her wedding dress and admired how stunning she looked. I got to witness the pride and joy in Lori’s parents’ eyes when they first saw their daughter fully dressed as a bride. All grown up.

The highlight of it all, at least for me, was Tyler’s reaction when he saw Lori walked down the aisle at their outdoor ceremony at Three Bridges Event Centre. You see, my first impression of Tyler was that he was a manly man. He was not the first person I expected to cry. In reality, especially around Lori, he is just a big teddy bear with a warm soul and a huge heart. Seeing those tears roll down his cheeks gave me the feels right there and then. He was happy and everyone around them were too.

Looking back at these photos makes me so grateful. I get to do this for a living. I get to hang out with happy people :)
