Vanessa and Ben’s Downtown Guelph Engagement Session

I enjoy blogging. I really do. It’s just that the wedding season came and went and I wanted to make sure that my clients receive great service from me first before delving into other things. Like blogging. But now that my schedule is starting to ease down wedding wise, I am more than happy to share images from Vanessa and Ben’s Downtown Guelph engagement session from spring!

The main reason I love shooting engagement sessions is that I get to know my couples a bit more. I feel that it’s important for me to have a connection with the couple before the wedding day.  With Vanessa and Ben, that wasn’t hard at all. Vanessa is one of the most beautiful person I’ve met, inside and out. Funny one too, that girl. And Ben, the way he pays attention to Vanessa, is just endearing. I am lucky and honoured that I get great clients such as them.

Also, with engagement sessions, I try to capture who they are as a couple so I ask them questions that get them to interact with each other. Like, asking one of them to tell the other person the story of how they met. Their first date.  How he proposed. I take their photos as they talk and reminisce, waiting for moments where their expressions are just right. Genuine.

Here are some images from their session!
