Vintage Acres Farms Wedding | Bethany and Cam

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had a great holiday season and that this year will be more prosperous for you than the last.

Although I had wanted to end last year with a post involving my best of 2014, I didn’t feel right doing that since I haven’t had the chance to show any of my wedding work from the past year. Blogging had been in the low end of my priority list. But that’s all going to change!

So for my first post of 2015, let me share some of the highlights from Bethany and Cam’s beautiful wedding at Vintage Acres Farms in Listowel, Ontario.

Bethany and Cam’s wedding was the kind of wedding I wish I could photograph all the time. Bethany and Cam and their families and friends are not afraid to show their emotions. There were lots of those for me to capture. They were married last June, so it has been about four months since I last went through their images. When I started to look at their photos again while choosing which ones to post, all of those memories from their wedding came back to me.

And I felt overwhelmed.

I felt what I had felt when I took those photographs. I felt Bethany’s excitement when her flowers were delivered. I felt the goosebumps I had when Bethany and her best friends beautifully performed an impromptu song (If you’re wondering if that’s Karli June in the picture, yes, that’s her!). I felt how tight Fran embraced her only son at their wedding ceremony. And I felt all the happiness directed to the bride and groom from everyone who was there to witness them wed.

There are no words to describe how special Bethany and Cam’s wedding was. I am very honoured to have been there to document it all for them.
