Lake Huron Engagement Session | Breanne and Jameson

In this chilly winter day, I’d rather be in ________________.

Yup. Winter is not my thing, especially with the -32C windchill we’ve been having. It’s not really becoming of me when I sniff away trying to keep my nose from running. My husband’s back is sore from shoveling our driveway. Our dogs love the snow, however. But even they don’t like staying out in this weather. You know it’s freezing when huskies refuse to stay out.

It’s days like this that I often wish it’s summer all over again. The warmth of the sun, the green grass. The lack of snow to plow.

But alas, we have to wait a few more months.  While we long for the warm weather to come, we can at least enjoy the next set of photos from Breanne and Jameson’s engagement session at the Pinery located at the shores of Lake Huron from last summer.

Breanne and Jameson have been together since high school and are set to wed in August of this year in Burlington. Whenever I shoot engagement sessions, I try capture moments when my couples naturally interact with each other. I feel that it’s more genuine and compelling to create images that portray who they are together. With Breanne and Jameson, they seem to know how to make each other smile. And everytime they hugged, they hugged as if it was just the two of them amidst the tall grass, enjoying the beauty of The Pinery and each other’s company. The kind of thing you see in romantic movies. They are that adorable!
