Be More.
“You are already enough. Be more.” I sat by the kitchen table sipping my (2nd) morning coffee when Sue Bryce said this quote on A Portrait System podcast I happened to be listening to today. Then to my left, one of my husband’s Joel Osteen books happened to be right beside me so I slid it over and opened to the first chapter. In bigger, italicised letters were: “Barely enough, just enough, and more than enough.” I guess The Universe is trying to tell me something.

Lift And Be Lifted
What is the best thing you’ve ever done for yourself? Two years ago, I decided to take up resistance training, also known as “Lifting”. Let me tell you. Lifting is the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. It changed my life in so many ways. For example. Lifting has made shopping easier. My favourite store in the world is Costco. 2020
2020. A new decade. A new chance. A chance to a life better than what you currently have. If I’m being truthful, I already have everything I need. A loving husband. Two beautiful dogs. They make us happy each day. A supportive circle of family and friends. Secure careers. A home. And yet… …I feel somewhat lost. Along the way, I lost my sense of me. Who am I supposed to be? From now on, this space will act as the place to document my journey of self re-discovery. Anything I find interesting, I shall write. Books. Food. Travel. And yes, personal style. For someone who speaks as succinctly as…

Update: Fitness Goals 2017 | Personal Story
It’s been a year already? WHAAAAAATTTT!!!! Yes, I know. Very typical of me to react this way. But seriously, where did the time go? Last year, I thought of three fitness goals that I felt the need to share with the Internet to make me accountable, and to “send it out to the Universe” as they say. I’m happy to say, in terms of physical fitness, I made quite a progress this year. 1.) Running Consistently I consider myself a runner again! I’ve been good at running at least three times a week for the last year and I’m so glad I have rekindled my love for it. I just put…
