Knollwood Golf Club Wedding | Angela and Geoff

Angela and Geoff’s Knollwood Golf Club wedding last September was my first time photographing an event in that location. Knollwood Golf and Country club boasts a scenic countryside setting in the outskirts of Ancaster, Ontario. In short, it’s the perfect place for couples looking for a venue with a combination of rustic charm and classic elegance not too far from the Greater Toronto Area.

Angela and Geoff had hoped for an outdoor wedding and specifically chose Knollwood Golf Club so their wedding guests could enjoy its beautiful grounds. However, Mother Nature had other plans. Rain showed up on their wedding day and hampered anything outdoor related. We were lucky to have half an hour after their wedding ceremony when the rain slowed to a trickle. We were able to shoot a few ones with their families outside under a canopy of trees in that short period. Their very organized wedding party also helped a lot. They wrangled Angela and Geoff’s families efficiently that I was able to photograph every groupings from their list very quickly. Go team!

Regardless of the rain, Angela and Geoff remained unfazed. They were just happy to get married and spend time with their families. They also very much looked forward to start a new phase in their lives together as a couple.
