Abbey and Matt’s engagement session in Port Dover, Ontario | Port Dover Wedding Photographer
On October 1st of last year, Abbey and Matt hiked up to a spot at Webster’s Falls called Dundas Peak for a sunset picnic. It was their anniversary of being a couple for several years and this little trek was their fun way of celebrating it. Little did Abbey know that hidden in Matt’s jacket was an engagement ring. He was going to propose at the right moment. Matt wanted the moment to be perfect that he even tried to avoid any form of hugging with her just in case she noticed the ring box in his pocket.
Abbey and Matt eventually reached the peak. With the view of the changing autumn leaves below and sun just about to hit the horizon giving everything a golden glow, Matt popped the question. Abbey happily said yes :)
Abbey and Matt will tie the knot next summer at the Nith Ridge Estate in Ayr, Ontario and I couldn’t be more excited for them. I spent a beautiful sunny afternoon with them for their engagement session in Port Dover, Ontario and yeah, they are as adorable in person as they are in these photos! These were taken in June of this year, and since it’s been really cool and dreary outside lately, I’d thought reminiscing the warm afternoons of summer would brighten up your day!
Here are their photos!
