Lisa and Ian: An Elm Hurst Inn Wedding | Wedding Photojournalist in Ingersoll, Ontario

The few weeks leading up to Lisa and Ian’s wedding, the temperature was above zero, no snow was in sight, and some of the trees have even started budding. I thought for sure Lisa and Ian’s wedding would be more like a spring wedding instead of the winter theme they had planned for.

So if anyone wonders who asked for a snow storm in February 11 when everyone else had been enjoying the spring-like weather, now you know. Lisa and Ian :).

I first introduced you to Lisa and Ian when I shared a few photos of their Tillsonburg engagement session on the blog back in October.  They chose the Elm Hurst Inn and Country Spa as the location for both their ceremony and reception, which I have had shot before.  The amount and the quality of natural light that flood their indoor ceremony location combined with the height of their ceiling, made the room look airy and beautiful. I just love it!

Lisa and her bridesmaids got ready at her parent’s home in Tillsonbug. Lisa looked gorgeous in her slim lace Impressions wedding gown from Sew Stylish Wedding Works in Ingersoll. Her long, blond hair styled by Definite Styles in Tillsonburg. Lisa also picked such beautiful colour palette for her wedding party. Her bridesmaids each wore lovely shade of muted lilac and carried bouquets of cream and white flowers from XQZT Flower Designs.

Ian and his groomsmen look very dashing in their gray morning suits from Debenhams in London, England. They even wore top hats which looked so elegant on them. The whole vibe of the wedding party, plus the setting of Elm Hurst Inn, and the British accents made me feel like I was shooting a wedding out of the pages of a Jane Austen book.

Here are a few photos from their wedding!
