My Inspiration | A Wedding Photographer’s Personal Story
I’ve asked myself about this.Why I do wedding photography. Photography as a business is not for the weak of heart mind you. The gears are expensive, the training a must. The extensive amount of squats and lunges I do on every shoot that leaves me sore all over the next day. Not to mention the hours I spend in front of the computer afterwards. It’s a lot of hard work really. That’s right. Hard work.
But I still love what I do.
Why?
It’s because on every shoot, I get to capture something special. Love. Unconditional genuine love. Each time I photograph a couple, I see two people in love. And it makes me all gushy inside. I find it important that their story must be told so that they could inspire others to believe that they too deserves to be loved. And it’s my job to tell that through the images I produce.
To my couples from 2010, thank you for choosing Pink Bliss. All of you have inspired me to keep doing what I’m doing. All of you are an inspiration to me. Thank you for letting me tell your stories.
The photos below are a few of my favourites from last year’s weddings and engagement shoots. My favourites because they make me remember how privileged I am to be doing what I’m doing.
