Urban Wedding Venue in Toronto | Lelia and Chris
Think it’s impossible to plan a wedding in six months time? In Downtown Toronto? It’s not entirely impossible.
You just need to be a superhero.
Kidding.
That’s what Lelia and Chris did. I introduced them on the blog a few months ago when I featured a few images from their Nathan Phillips Square engagement session. They got engaged in October and got married 6 months later. If Lelia and Chris had super powers, it would be their super organizational skills. At the end of the day, I was so impressed at how they pulled it all off. They had a beautiful wedding that was on time and on schedule; a wedding reception at a unique urban wedding venue called Reds Wine Tavern in Toronto; and guests from both Toronto and Vancouver who had the one of the most unforgettable night in their lives.
For good reasons.
Reds Wine Tavern spruced up a delectable menu featuring mouth watering 16 oz steaks for the carnivores. And Lelia and Chris’ friends devised inventive wedding reception games to keep their guests entertained. Like stacking Oreos on foreheads. The little boys among their guests found that extremely fascinating. And the game of charades to tell the story of how Lelia and Chris first met. Hilarious! Considering their wedding was my first for 2015, it was a great way to start the year!
If you’re looking for an unconventional, urban wedding venue in Toronto, you have to check out Reds Wine Tavern. It’s modern interiors definitely represent what Downtown Toronto is all about, that’s why Lelia and Chris chose it as their venue in the first place. Plus they know how to look after their guests. And the food, like I mentioned earlier, was delicious. Even to this date, my mouth waters just thinking about the food I had that night. Man, that was really good.
Here are a few images from their day!
