Kitchener Photographer | Chris and Lauren: Engagement Session

Chris and Lauren got engaged recently on September 10, 2009. Even though we had only corresponded with them through email in search of their Kitchener photographer before we met up for their engagement session, Kasia and I got the sense that they were fun, energetic, and creative couple who does not shy away from unique ideas to make their engagement shoot special. We were very excited to work with them.

Kasia and I suggested two locations for Chris and Lauren’s photo shoot. The first one was a stream in a  somewhat secluded location along the Walter Bean trail in Kitchener. They wanted something that looked more on the natural side and this location fit it perfectly.

Our second location was at a torn down barn a few minutes drive from our first site. We loved the rustic feel of it, and the corn crops even made interesting props for us as well.

Once we started our shoot, Kasia and I saw immediately the love between the two. Chris and Lauren could not stop smiling at each other. We didn’t even have to direct them to be affectionate. What you see in their photos is all them. Pure intimacy that can not be faked easily. It was such a pleasure working with them and having a chance to document their love through photography.
