Documentary Wedding Photographer | Nicole and Jon’s Burlington Convention Center Wedding

Nicole and Jon are both creatives. Nicole is an accomplished commercial photographer who has photographed various up and coming music artists in Toronto, while Jon owns and design his own label of urban clothing, BigRox. So naturally, their wedding was chic, fresh, and sleek.

As a documentary wedding photographer, what struck me the most about their wedding was how close they were with their families and how much they were loved by them. For example, Nicole’s father beamed with pride when he told their guests of how meticulously Nicole and Jon planned their wedding, how Nicole did all the centerpieces, invitations, and the rest of the décor that made their wedding at the Burlington Convention Center looked spectacular.  And during the speeches, Nicole’s Aunt, who was only a few years older than Nicole, told a heartfelt story about Nicole growing up and how happy she was happy that she and Jon had tied the knot. These kinds of moments make my couples wedding memorable to me because not only do I get to capture their day for them, I get to see over and over again what really matters in life. Love and family.
