Cambridge Wedding Photography | Marta and Tom: A Wedding Preview

As a wedding photographer, I believe that who we are is greatly shaped by the people that surround us — our families in particular. That’s why for me to tell the story of a wedding well, I try to capture moments not only between the bride and groom but also with their families.

At Marta and Tom’s wedding last weekend, it was evident that family is important to them. But what struck me the most was the moment when Marta walked down the aisle, accompanied by her godfather. Her father passed away years ago and from the speeches later on that night, he was well loved by people that knew him and that he loved his only daughter Marta so much. When I captured Marta right before she walked down the aisle as you will see in  the images below, she and her godfather, Cezar, were quite emotional. I know that Marta was very happy to marry the man she loves. But at that moment, I think that she also would have wanted to have her father at her side.
