One of the most memorable weddings I’ve ever had the honour photographing was that of Sarah and Chris’s Flat Rocks Cellars wedding. It wasn’t the most elaborately decorated, nor was it held in a swanky, elegant venue. There were no hired jazz bands to stir the guests into dancing nor were there string quartets to accompany the bride as she walked down the aisle. There were none of those.

Instead, they had an intimate wedding, consisted of their immediate families who all drove down to Flat Rocks Cellars in Jordan, Ontario from Kitchener. Sarah and Chris wanted to celebrate their wedding with just their families because to them, what mattered the most was to share this special moment with the people who they truly cared for the most. What they had was a simple wedding. And it was beautiful.
