I had been dying to get out and about for a long time to do some street photography and just shoot whatever my eyes fancied. Each time I set a date, the weather never really turned out great. But yesterday… yesterday was a blessing. It was warm enough to get around but cool enough to be comfortable. I know it was around 17 C but I was born in the tropics. You’re never going to see me without some kind of a jacket unless it’s over 23 C. Here’s just a few frames from that day.

Norman Rue feeling the Force. As you can probably tell, we love our dogs. So much so that we let them stay on the bed. My husband covered our pup Norman with the duvet the other night. He squirmed his way out and he did find the light, he emerged, looking victorious. And looking like a Jedi.

The last time I travelled back to the Philippines was December 2003. I’ve been wanting to visit home a lot sooner than ten years but my schedule never worked out. When my best friend from the Philippines told me she was engaged, I made it a priority to book a couple of weeks off my calendar last October to fly nineteen hours over the Pacific and come home. My Foundation Experience | Personal Story
“Did you just join a cult?” my husband asked. I guess when I came home after being away for five days raving about my experience at a workshop where I cried everyday, where I “saw the light”, where I fell in love with cows, became one with my team, and where I gained a new family called “The Foundation”, I couldn’t really blame by him for thinking that.
