Happy New Year! – 2014 Edition
Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday Season and had a chance to spend time with their families and friends. Our household had been busy, with the addition of a new member of the family, Norman! For the last year or so, I’ve been bugging my husband, Lance, to get another dog. We’ve been so blessed and spoiled by how Bella was such a great dog that I thought we could handle another rescue and give him a home. Lance has always been the practical one, so he kept saying no. However, about 3 weeks ago, I got to change his mind. I woke up one morning, checked…

How To Buy a Vintage Wedding Dress | Tips For Brides
Vintage themed weddings have been popular for several years now with the resurgence of period movies and TV series such as Mad Men, Downton Abbey, and Boardwalk Empire. Documentary Wedding Photographer | Ron and Ann
My husband and I have been married for four and a half years. Before we got married, we thought we wanted kids. One boy, one girl, and a dog would have been my ideal. He wanted two girls, thinking that girls would be easier to raise. At least until they turn sixteen and start dating. As the years went by, we kept postponing our plans to start having kids. We did get our dog, who is basically our child now. We’ve been holding off mainly because we’re both busy with work. And also because we’re both afraid. Are we ready and responsible enough to raise another human being? Will I…

When photographers shoot each other — The Desert Edition.
Last week, I went to WPPI Convention in Las Vegas. WPPI is the biggest photography convention in North America with 15,000 photographers in attendance. Aside from the classes and the expo, there are tons, TONS, of parties to attend. It’s pretty much our own version of Spring Break. Unfortunately for me, my Eastern Time trained body was unable to adjust to Vegas Time so even with sincere intentions of partying it out like a rock star, I found myself in bed by 9 pm, knocked out cold, each night. Which really limited my socializing time during daylight hours. Luckily, a bunch of my photographer friends planned on heading out to…
