When photographers shoot each other — The Desert Edition.
Last week, I went to WPPI Convention in Las Vegas. WPPI is the biggest photography convention in North America with 15,000 photographers in attendance. Aside from the classes and the expo, there are tons, TONS, of parties to attend. It’s pretty much our own version of Spring Break. Unfortunately for me, my Eastern Time trained body was unable to adjust to Vegas Time so even with sincere intentions of partying it out like a rock star, I found myself in bed by 9 pm, knocked out cold, each night. A little break from the daily routine is always a welcome experience for my husband and I. Since our last trip in May, we’ve both been busy on our careers that we really needed to just take a breather and relax for a week. I mean, I love photography and working with new people all the time. The first time my husband found out that he got free floor tickets to Roger Waters “The Wall” concert in Las Vegas, he screamed in front of the computer in glee. Almost scared me to say the least.
