Documentary Wedding Photographer | Nicole and Jon’s Burlington Convention Center Wedding
Nicole and Jon are both creatives. Nicole is an accomplished commercial photographer who has photographed various up and coming music artists in Toronto, while Jon owns and design his own label of urban clothing, BigRox. So naturally, their wedding was chic, fresh, and sleek. As a documentary wedding photographer, what struck me the most about their wedding was how close they were with their families and how much they were loved by them. For example, Nicole’s father beamed with pride when he told their guests of how meticulously Nicole and Jon planned their wedding, how Nicole did all the centerpieces, invitations, and the rest of the décor that made their…

Amanda and Keith| Cambridge Documentary Wedding Photographer
I read an article recently from The Huffington Post written by Anne Almasy, a fellow photographer, who wrote about those moments you would want captured on your wedding day and why those moments would mean a lot to you years from now. I could have written that article myself as I share the same thoughts though not as eloquently as Almasy’s writing. Which brings me to Amanda and Keith’s wedding. Amanda and Keith had gorgeous, elegant flowers for their wedding. Amanda wore a custom made gown while Keith donned a tailored suit, both designed by Amanda’s uncles, Dean and Dan Caten of DSquared. Their intimate wedding was held at the…

So now that you’ve decided to have one, the next thing to figure out would be the “when” and the “where”. The “when” is the easy part. It’s the “where” that gets brides befuddled. So read…

Angela and Ollie’s Waterloo Winter Engagement Session | Waterloo Wedding Photography
When you venture out to backpack across Europe, you probably wouldn’t expect meeting “ the one”. But that was the case with Angela and Ollie. They first met briefly in Barcelona at a hostel where they stayed. They didn’t expect to see each other again when they left the city. But at a different region of Spain a few days later, they did. And that’s when they got to know each other further more. And that’s when their story began. Angela and Ollie will be getting married this May at the elegant Windermere Manor in London, Ontario. I had a wonderful time with them shooting their winter engagement session. I…

Langdon Hall Wedding | Nichola and Karim | Cambridge Wedding Photojournalist
Nichola and Karim got married at the Langdon Hall Country House in Cambridge, Ontario. If you are following my blog, you would have met them already when I shared a few of their modern engagement session earlier last year. My day started with Nichola getting ready at Langdon Hall’s bridal suite, a room surrounded by windows that overlooked their outdoor ceremony location. As I was shooting some of their gorgeous details while Nichola and her bridesmaids got ready, I noticed a tiny patch of heart-shaped cotton fabric sewn on the inside of her wedding gown. It was sewn on the left side, closest to her heart. When I asked Nichola…
